An excerpt of the live performance of ‘up up up around around’ is now uploaded. The piece was performed by Stockholm Saxophone Quartet on Sound of Stockholm in October 2011.
Sjuorna möter SSQ
Involving six school classes, totally around 150 students from the 7th grade. During three intense days (November 7-9, 2011) Johan Svensson and Stockholm Saxophone Quartet will teach the school children to play the newly written piece ’up up up around around’ (for saxophone quartet an optional free setting ensemble). The saxophone quartet and the students will November 9th perform the piece together on a concert in Vimmerby.

Rita cirklar will be performed by Athelas Sinfonietta at UNM festival in Copenhagen, Danmark 22/8.
Performance on Open Days
The Bending Quartet will perform on Open Days festival in Aalborg, Danmark, 17/8 2011. As part of the event TBQ will also hold an open workshop in Turbine Torvet in Nordkraft 15-16/8. Here the participants can follow the development of new handmade/modified electronic instruments.
